Fake news, Trump and U.S. culture - Foreign journalists visit Ely, talk foreign policy and impact of social media during public forum

Foreign policy and “fake news” were two dominant topics in Ely Monday, when journalists from 10 different countries gathered at the Pioneer Mine complex.
The annual visit by the participants in the World Press Institute fellows program included a lively public forum sponsored by the Ely Echo, as the journalists shared their perspectives on the Trump Administration, American culture and the impact of social media on modern journalism.
