Zahn gets thanks and recognition from area veterans

HONORED for his work on behalf of veterans and the community of Ely was Dick Zahn.
A special dinner honoring Richard Zahn was held recently at Veterans on the Lake for Dick’s “dedication and work to improve the community of Ely and his endless support and leadership to the many Ely veterans that have proudly served our country.”
Zahn has been active in the leadership of the VFW, American Legion, Veterans on the Lake and the Ely Memorial. A Five Star” dinner was served at the resort to attendees which included Dick’s wife Joanne and area veterans.
