Anderson advances to state speech meet

Duluth Marshall hosted the Section 7A Speech Meet on April 15.  Earning a place at the State Speech Meet on April 29 will be Esther Anderson in the category of serious poetry.  Team members medaling but not in the top three eligible for state were Maggie Dammann, fifth in extemp reading, Leo Stalmer,  fifth in drama, Abigail (Teddy) Johnson, sixth in drama and Juliet Stouffer, fifth in storytelling. Also competing at sections were Morgan McClelland, seventh in storytelling, Raymus Cavelier, eighth in prose, Gabe Mann and Alison Poppler. “This meet was a spectacular way to end the season,” said Coach Donna Kari.
