Public Hearing Notice<BR><BR>The City of Ely Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing for a variance request on Thursday, March 1, 2007 at 6:01 PM in the Card Room of the Ely Community Center (Room 123, 30 S. 1st. Ave. E.). The property owner is Jacob Peshel, authorized agent is Jean Peshel. The property is described as the N'ly 75' of Lots 1 & 2 of Block 1 of Robin Gardens Addition to Ely, parcel id. 030-0230-00010 (1750 E. Camp St.). Jean Peshel is requesting a variance to vary from Section 11.01, Subd. 9, D, 3 d. This subdivision describes the home occupation regulations which state that "one sign, not to exceed 4 square feet in area...shall be permitted..." Jean Peshel is requesting a sign of 15 square feet. All interested parties will be heard at this hearing.
