Nolan congratulates Congressman-Elect Pete Stauber and offers assistance during transition

U.S. Rep. Rick Nolan telephoned Congressman-elect Pete Stauber Wednesday to offer congratulations on Stauber’s election victory Tuesday, and offer any and all assistance in transitioning Minnesota’s 8th District Congressional office to the new representative.
“Pete and I had a warm and cordial conversation to discuss the orderly transition of the office, as well as information regarding legislative efforts he may wish to continue after he begins his service in Washington,” Nolan said. “This Congressional seat belongs to the great people of Minnesota’s Eighth District, and my staff and I are committed to ensuring that they continue to receive top-notch, uninterrupted service as long as we remain in office.”
Nolan added that he and Stauber agreed to be in close communication over the coming weeks leading up to the onset of the new Congress in January.
Pete Stauber told supporters, “This campaign has been a wonderful experience – it was hard work, but I have had the opportunity to meet thousands of people who share my love for this great state. Now the real work begins: representing the citizens of Minnesota’s 8th District in the United States House of Representatives. Together with my wife, Jodi, and our kids, Levi, Luke, Isaac, and Addilyn – we want to say, “thank you for everything!”
