Dr. Brian Murn was co-founder of Park Dental along with partner, Dr. Greg Swenson. The two developed one of the first and most successful, patient focused group dental practices in the United States. He took great joy in his relationships with staff and patients, and with some staff, the connections grew into life-long friendships. His professionalism, empathy, and kindness will be always remembered by those he worked with. He retired from Park Dental in 2016, at the age of 88.

Throughout his life Bud enjoyed fishing, remote camping trips and playing tennis with his wife Donna, family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time at the cabin just outside Ely with the extended Murn family. He had close relationships with his grandchildren, ever interested in their life adventures and perspectives. Bud had a great sense of humor, sharp intellect, and was always interested in personally engaging others. He was a voracious reader, enjoying The New Yorker, consuming books and newspapers, including "The Star Tribune", "Ely Echo", and "The Twin Valley Times". He and his wife Donna had many treasured friendships in Minneapolis, Ely and at their winter retreat in Sandestin, FL.

A life well lived, he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
