During the winter, Mattson was also part of the UWS women’s basketball team.
She came off the bench for the Yellowjackets (6-19) and averaged 1.8 points and 1.0 rebounds per game.
Mattson is majoring in biology and chemistry at UWS, and moved on to the school after earning numerous all-conference honors in basketball, softball and volleyball for the Timberwolves.
