School Board Study Session January 27, 2020

1.0 The study session of the School Board of Independent School District No. 696 was called to order by Chairman Marsnik at 6:00 p.m. in the school board meeting room.
2.0 On roll call the following directors were present: Colarich, Mann, Marsnik, Omerza, Pointer. Absent: Sjoberg.
3.0 Facilities Director Tim Leeson gave an update on water quality and plumbing.
4.0 ARI President Scott Sosalla gave a facilities plan update.
5.0 Gary Cerkvenik and Jeff Anderson with the Costin Group presented a draft proposal for IRRR Commissioner.
6.0 Superintendent Erie and Principal Anderson gave an update on collaboration with Northeast Range.
7.0 Moved by Pointer, seconded by Colarich to adjourn at 8:04 p.m. Motion carried. Vote: (5-0)

Town of Morse VOTING EQUIPMENT TESTING

Pursuant to Mn. Statutes 206.83, the Clerk will conduct a public accuracy test of optical scan voting equipment to ascertain that the equipment will correctly count the votes cast for all candidates on the ballot for the Township Election to be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. The test will be held at the Morse Town Hall on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.

Pursuant to Minnesota Statute 207A.ll, a Presidential Nomination Primary will be held on March 3, 2020 from 7:00AM to 8:00PM at the Winton Community Center, 102 Main Street N.
Presidential primary voters must be registered to vote and must request their choice of party ballot. The party ballot choice will be recorded on the polling place roster and be held as private data except that it will be made available to the chairs of the major political parties in the State of Minnesota.

Notice is hereby given to qualified voters of the TOWN OF MORSE, County of St. Louis, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tuesday in March, announcement regarding the election will be aired on WELY.

The Election Poll hours will be open from noon to 8 p.m. at which time the voters will elect:
