Overdose at Ely high school leads to mother-daughter drug bust

An Ely high school student suffered a drug overdose during the school day which later led to a drug bust.
Around 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3 a male student was found collapsed in the hallway outside the high school office leading to a response from the Ely Area Ambulance and Ely Police Department.
Following questioning of the student and his parent, the EPD was able to get a judge to authorize a search warrant at 630 East Pattison Street on Nov. 4.
