AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ELY, MINNESOTA,
ADDING CHAPTER 20, SECTION 20.2.61 SALES OF LAND CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF ELY
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELY DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Chapter 20, Section 2, of the City Code of the City of Ely, Minnesota is amended to read as follows:
SEC. 20.2.61. AUTHORIZING SALE OF REAL PROPERTY TO STATE OF MINNESOTA, IN TRUST FOR THE TAXING DISTRICTS. The Council of the City of Ely is hereby authorized to transfer, for the price of zero Dollars and 00/100 Cents ($0.00) and the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer are hereby authorized to execute all documents and perform all acts necessary for the transfer to State of Minnesota, in Trust for the Taxing Districts on the real property legally described as follows:
Lot 3, Section 4, Township 62 North of Range 12 West of the 4th Principal Meridian
EXCEPT all iron ore and other minerals and fossils within, under or upon said laid.
SUBJECT to the mineral rights reserved by deeds registered in the office of the Registrar of Titles, as Documents Nos. 277673 and 495419
SECTION 2. Effective Date: Pursuant to Section 3.08 of the Charter of the City of Ely, Minnesota, the adoption of this Ordinance is effective immediately after final adoption and publication.
