Sheave wheels return to Pioneer Mine

WELDING in the two sheave wheels Brad Pearse of OzFab built for the Ely Arts and Heritage Center to return the look of the Pioneer Mine site. The $16,000 project is still in need of donations with $1,500 raised to date. The non-profit EAHC raises funds through donations from visitors and from renting the Miners Dry building. Below Pearse is city utilities worker Jeff Dunbar, who along with Chad Gregorson, assisted in the installation.
