Rachael Thom - School Counselor and Dean of Students Number of years at the school: Nine years Favorite part of working here: I love working with our students and building connections that last from elementary through graduation. Watching them grow, discover who they are, and succeed is such an honor. Our students constantly inspire me with their insight, creativity, and fresh perspectives, and I’ve been lucky to form lasting relationships with families over the years. I’m also grateful to work alongside such a dedicated and supportive staff—we truly make a great team!
A fun fact about myself: A few fun facts about me is that I was born in Ely and grew up a little south of Babbitt - I have been a “Babbitt-ite” my whole life. I also own a naked cat, read 60+ books a year, and have a weakness for white cheddar popcorn.

A fun fact about myself: Growing up, my family moved more times than I can count. I was always in a new place, starting a new school, so when my husband and I moved to Babbitt 7 years ago, I made it my mission to make it our forever home. It is now officially the place that I have lived the longest in my entire life and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
