Northern Tier High Adventure Base is having a 2025 Haunted Walk on Oct. 25 from 1-7 p.m. Cost is $10 per person, children three and under free.
The fall gathering of the 100 Ely Women Who Care will be held at the Ely Community Center on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 4 p.m. As usual it will be a pot luck of appetizers and desserts, it usually wraps up at about 5:30 p.m. 100 EWWC is a giving circle based in Ely that nominates and then votes on a local non- profit to donate to twice each year. At the Ely Public Library on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 10:30 a.m. the program will be Move and Groove – for preschoolers with an adult. Get some of those wiggles out to the dance beat as Jessie leads kids in simple dances and stretches. This program is sponsored by Friends of the Library.
At the Ely Public Library on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 1 p.m. the program will be Caleigh: They Brought Their Songs – for adults. “They Brought Their Songs” weaves together stories and history of Minnesota with musical genres that highlight the diverse ethnic make-up of the state. Caleigh pairs harp, fiddle, bodhran, banjo, accordion, guitars, mandolin, congas, viola, contra bass, and captivating vocals for a program that is a perfect harmony of Minnesota history.
The Ely Music Boosters will be hosting a spaghetti feed from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30 at the school cafeteria. The cost will be $10 for adults, $8 for kids and free for kids three and under. A family of four will pay a maximum of $30.
Ely Memorial High School will hold a band and choir concert on Thursday, Oct. 30 at Washington Auditorium.
The Ely Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Trunk or Treat event at Whiteside Park from 4:30-6 p.m. on Oct. 31.
At the Ely Public Library on Friday, Oct. 31 from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Trick or Treat at the library.
Ely Area Marine Corps veterans are reminded that the
Marine Corps Birthday will be celebrated on Monday, Nov. 10 at Vets on the Lake. A social hour will begin at 4:30 p.m., dinner at 5 p.m.
