The Peter Mitchell Days Trunk or Treat will be held on Friday, Oct. 31 from 5-7 p.m. in the gymnasium at the Municipal Building. Groups looking to participate should contact Carolyn Holm at 218-404-6585.
Babbitt Assembly of God invites all kids, teens and families to Fun on the Front Lawn outside the church on Friday, Oct. 31 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Be sure to stop on your evening of fun. There will be a “pick-apumpkin” candy game, photo booth and hot apple cider for everyone.
Yuletide Treasures will be held at the Nelimark Homestead Museum Nov. 6-8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 4839 Salo Road and Hwy. 21 across from Timber Hall in Embarrass. The House is decorated and ready with unique gifts ,handmade creations, fresh baked goods and candies.
Woodland Harvest luncheon and bake sale will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Adults $12; six and under free; Dessert and coffee $5; Two cup soup to go $5.

Free Veterans Day Luncheon honoring area veterans. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 11 a.m.-noon. Plate includes a pulled chicken sandwich, chips, beverage and dessert. Evangelical Lutheran Church, 28 Acacia Road, Babbitt. All are welcome to share a meal with area veterans!
A Snowmobile Safety Hybrid Class (field day) will be held in Babbitt on Dec. 20. This class is for students 11 and older who have completed the online course at http://www.snowmobilecourse.com/usa/minnesota.
