The Babbitt Library will be holding a Christmas Party on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 2-4 p.m. Entertainment by Gerry Mealey and Friends. Refreshments provided.
A pancake breakfast, holiday boutique, and blood drive will be held at the Timber Hall Event Center on Dec. 6 from 8 a.m. to noon sponsored by the Embarrass Region Community Association. All you can eat pancakes, a choice of sausage or ham, and coffee and juice before checking out local crafters and bakers at the holiday boutique. Memorial Blood Centers will also be there to accept your lifesaving blood donation. Consider bringing a new toy, warm clothes, or a gift card for Operation Santa, helping families who use the Tower Area Food Shelf. The Evangelical Lutheran Church is hosting the Merry and Bright Christmas Bazaar. The event is Saturday, Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with arts and crafts, a raffle and lunch.
A Snowmobile Safety Hybrid Class (field day) will be held in Babbitt on Dec. 20. This class is for students 11 and older who have completed the online course at http://www.snowmobilecourse.com/usa/minnesota. To register call Terri @ 218-827-2633.
Stay Active and Independent for Life (S.A.I.L.) sessions have resumed with a 9 a.m. and a 10:15 a.m. session each Tuesday and Thursday for 12 weeks. This exercise program is free, and designed for people over 60.

The Babbitt Rec is offering Pickleball for people to come play at the Municipal Building. Contact the rec at 218-827-3568. Pickleball is played every Tuesday and Thursday night from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Municipal Center Gym. All ages and levels are welcome.
Babbitt Al-Anon meets on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. upstairs at the Woodland Presbyterian Church.
