WASHINGTON — U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar met with teachers and high school seniors from Ely High School during their trip to Washington to learn about the legislative process. This marks Ely High School’s 31st annual senior class trip to Washington. “I had a great talk with this talented group of high school seniors,” said Klobuchar. “For more than three decades, Ely High School and its dedicated educators have been organizing this trip to our nation’s capital to learn about the legislative process and our government. I’m looking forward to seeing what these rising leaders achieve in the years to come. This visit is especially meaningful to me because my dad attended Ely High School.”
