The Northeast Range speech team had a very successful Section 7A tournament. NER tied for overall third place. All speakers on the team placed in the top 10 and five speakers moved on to state: Storytelling first Eva Morgan and third Alice Sopoci; Prose second Addyson Monson; Ext Reading third Makenzie Little; Creative third Alison Poppler; Drama ninth Brody Lindquist; Informative fourth Trevor Zaitz.
“I am very proud of each one of our varsity speakers. They work hard and get up early every weekend for three months straight! You guys are rock stars!” said coach Jennifer Kaufenberg. “Thank you to our assistant coaches, Coach Morgan and Coach Kristi.As a coach I am truly blessed with an amazing team!
