At the Ely Public Library on Monday, June 29 at 11 a.m. the program will be Wolf 101 with the International Wolf Center. Staff from the International Wolf Center cover the basics of gray wolf biology and behavior. A variety of topics will be discussed including where wolves live, what they eat, and how they have adapted to different environments. This interactive program is a great introduction to the world of gray wolves! This program is in cooperation with the International Wolf Center.
At the Ely Public Library on Tuesday, June 30 at 10:30 a.m. the program will be Move and Groove for preschoolers with an adult. Get some of those wiggles out to the dance beat as Jessie leads kids in simple dances and stretches. This program is sponsored by Friends of the Library.
At the Ely Public Library on Wednesday, July 1 a.m. the program will be Library Scientists: Water Science - geared toward K-2nd grades but everyone is welcome. Explore the wonders of water with a variety of water experiments. Learn about the water cycle and watch water defy gravity! This program will take place outdoors (as long as there is no lightning) so dress appropriately. Please pre-register. This program is sponsored by Friends of the Library.
At the Ely Public Library on Thursday, July 2 at 11 a.m. the program will be Yoga for Kids with Mary Friedmeyer – for grades K-3. Kids and accompanying adults can bend, stretch, and pose to learn yoga basics and relax. Don’t worry about needing to bring anything other than a good attitude!

Everyone is welcome to play MahJong at the Ely Community Center. Don’t know how to play? No problem. There is a table for beginners with instructors. You can learn on the fly plus there is online help as well. MahJong is played on Thursdays from noon to 3 p.m.

Northwoods Partners Caregiver Support Group meets the third Tuesday of the month from 11 a.m. to noon at the Ely Area Community Hub, 760 E. Miners Drive.
