At Tuesday’s St. Louis County board meeting in Duluth, the referendum question that will impact school district funding was discussed.
Range Association of Municipalities and Schools executive director Paul Peltier explained the positive impact the change would have in St. Louis County.
“This would be an increase in unrestricted funds, meaning the school district can use those funds however they wish, they can use it for pencils, people, buses, whatever, it’s up to them,” said Peltier.
