NATIONAL AWARD for Jacki Bregier-Poshak of KJ’s True Value Hardware and Ben Franklin who was recognized as an HBS Dealer Top Women in Hardware and Building Supply. She was given a “Rising Star” Award at the HBS Dealer National Conference in Chicago, IL. The Rising Star Award recognizes leaders who possess the traits of business potential to make a difference in their companies and communities “Through leadership, dedication, and innovation, this remarkable woman is shaping the future of the hardware and building supply industry.” Bregier-Poshak said she was humbled by the award and pointed to her background in the construction industry. Her husband Jay Poshak said, “She has used more power tools than we have sold here.” Bregier-Poshak noted in the last 10 years the hardware indsutry went from 5% to 28% women in leadership positions. She was one of 400 women nominated for the 74 awards given out.
