The Ely Farmers Market kicks off Tuesday, June 3 at Whiteside Park. As in the past few years, the market will be in the corner of the park near 7th Avenue and along Sheridan Street. Market hours are from 5-7 p.m., continuing through the last Tuesday of September, the 30th.
“As a lways, pro duce is highly sought after! Gardene r s, if you have a bountiful harvest this season, please join us!” said organizer Karen Hamilton. “We welcome all, even if you join us one week or all season.”
Food trucks, crafters, bakers and artists are featured each week, and there will be some new vendors this season. Canned goods, maple syrup, handcrafted candles, rugs, jewelry, art, pottery, baked goods, wood-carved kitchen utensils, herbal remedies, fruits, and veggies are just a few of the many treasures to be found.
