The dedication of the voyageurs sculpture and Bill Mason Canoe Sculpture will be held on July 1 at 2 p.m. at Whiteside Park.
At the Ely Public Library on Tuesday, July 1 at 2 p.m. the program will be Hey, It’s a Holiday: National Anti-Boredom Month for grades four up to adults. Join Jessie for some ideas on how to keep yourself from being bored. She’ll show how to make a piece of paper into all sorts of things using origami techniques. Please register in advance. The 45th annual Ely Watercolor Club Show and Sale will be held Wednesday, July 16 to Sunday, July 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Miners Dry at the Pioneer Mine.
The Ely Watercross will celebrate its 20th year Aug. 8-10 at the Longbranch in Winton. The event will feature snowmobiles racing on Fall Lake and a concert Saturday night with Ransom and Pop Rocks.
