The Babbitt Ambulance Service is holding a public study session with the City Council July 8 at 6 p.m. at Babbitt City Hall. The Babbitt Ambulance Service will be doing a presentation on: What is EMS?
What are the requirements at the state level? Current ambulance service standing and difficulties; and possible changes and what the future of the ambulance service could look like.
Blessing of the Bikes will be happening on Sunday, July 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Babbitt Assembly of God. Our church service starts at 10 a.m. with Maranatha Motorcycle team. They will be blessing the bikes and praying for riders at about 11:30 a.m. They will be serving a free hamburger and bratwurst meal. All are invited to attend. The 10th annual Ride, Raffle ‘N Roll for ALS will be held Saturday, Aug. 16, starting at the Timber Hall Event Center in Embarrass. Pancake breakfast available for purchase and open to the public 8-10 a.m. Ride registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with kickstands up at 10:30 a.m. Proceeds benefit Never Surrender Inc. through the 2026 Black Woods Blizzard Tour.
