The 10th annual Ride, Raffle ‘N Roll for ALS will be held Saturday, Aug. 16, starting at the Timber Hall Event Center in Embarrass. Northeast Range School will hold an Open House on Aug. 26 from 4-7 p.m. Parents and students are encouraged to attend to meet the teachers, tour the building, pick up schedules and drop off supplies. There will be a meeting in the library for parent information for elementary students at 5 p.m. and one for high school students at 6 p.m.
A firearms safety field day will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6 in Babbitt. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. and the class will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students must be 11 years old by the date of the class and have completed the online hunter safety course. The Friends of the Babbitt Library are looking for crafters and vendors for their upcoming Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Interested? Stop by the library to pick up a registration form. Tables are just $10 each.

Stay Active and Independent for Life (S.A.I.L.) sessions have resumed with a 9 a.m. and a 10 a.m. session each Tuesday and Thursday for 12 weeks. This exercise program is free, and designed for people over 60.
The Babbitt Rec is offering Pickleball for people to come play at the Municipal Building. Contact the rec at 218-827-3568. Pickleball is played every Tuesday and Thursday night from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Municipal Center Gym. All ages and levels are welcome.
