Nighthawks Pony League football will play at home on Saturday, Sept. 20 at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Bill and Kate Isles, a nationally-known singer/songwriter duo based in Duluth, will perform at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21 at the historic Apostolic Lutheran Church in Embarrass. The concert is presented by Sisu Heritage, Inc, Trapline Convenience Store and the Embarrass-Vermillion Credit Union. The church is located at 5103 Hwy 21 in Embarrass. Admission is $10, $8 for Sisu members, and free for children under 12.
New AA Big Book meeting, to begin at noon, on Sept. 25 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Ely, 231 East Chapman Street, Room 4 in the basement.
On Sunday, Sept. 28, national Christian artist Joel Vaughn will be sharing his music at Babbitt Assembly of God at their 10 a.m. Sunday morning service. All are invited to attend and be encouraged, inspired and blessed.
