Ely Slovenian Chapter 23 invites the public to an evening of Slovenian Cinema. Oct. 3, 6-9 p.m. at Ely’s State Theater featuring three shows Moja Meja (my borders), “Krakatoa Himna Domovini” (Anthem For My Homeland) and “Land of Endless Possibilities: Minnesota” $8 per show or $15 for the evening.
The Friends of the Babbitt Library are looking for crafters and vendors for their upcoming Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Interested? Stop by the library to pick up a registration form. Tables are just $10 each.
The Babbitt Recreation Department is sponsoring a “Howl O Ween” Dog Costume Contest on Oct. 26 at the outdoor rink/dog park at 1 p.m. There will be a photo booth, a pet parade and costume contest. Trophies and dog treats provided, sponsored by city of Babbitt recreation department.
