Dr. Mitchell Moe, a family medicine specialist, has joined the Essentia Health-Ely Clinic.
“I have known since a young age that I wanted to be a physician,” said Moe. “After growing up in rural Minnesota, my goal was to come right back to a small town after training, where I could settle and invest in the community, build close relationships with the people living there and help patients both within and outside clinic walls. Ely fits that perfectly.”
Moe earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. He completed his family medicine residency at St. John’s Hospital in St. Paul and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
“Managing your own or a loved one’s health is stressful,” said Moe. “Even when I don’t have the answer right away, I will do whatever is needed to address any medical concern. Having an advocate in your corner while navigating the health care system is important, and I strive to do that for all my patients.”
