Evangelical Lutheran Church is looking for crafters/vendors for the Merry and Bright Christmas Bazaar. If you would like to have a table, call Donna at 218-750-4136.

Calling all bakers: The Friends of the Library are seeking baked goods for a fundraiser. Drop-off times: Friday, Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 11 before 10 a.m. All proceeds from the bake sale will directly support the Babbitt Library.

The Friends of the Babbitt Library are looking for crafters and vendors for their upcoming Harvest Festival on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Interested? Stop by the library to pick up a registration form. Tables are just $10 each.

Harvest Festival will be Saturday, Oct. 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. hosted by the Friends of the Babbitt Library and Babbitt Senior Citizens. Browse over 30+ vendor tables filled with crafts, unique items, and more. Enjoy homemade baked goods and enter raffle drawings. Meal options include a pulled pork or sloppy joe dinner. All meal proceeds support the Babbitt Senior Citizens. Bake sale and raffle proceeds benefit the Friends of the Babbitt Library.

The Babbitt Recreation Department is sponsoring a “Howl O Ween” Dog Costume Contest on Oct. 26 at the outdoor rink/dog park at 1 p.m. There will be a photo booth, a pet parade and costume contest. Trophies and dog treats provided, sponsored by city of Babbitt recreation department.

A Trunk or Treat will be held at 5488 Hwy. 21 in Embarrass from 3-6 p.m. on Oct. 25. The free event includes a petting zoo, spooky trail, trunks with treats and a corn maze.

There will be a Big Truck Show from noon to 6 p.m. at the Embarrass Town Hall on Oct. 25 sponsored by the Friends of the Embarrass Region Volunteer Fire Department.

The Peter Mitchell Days Trunk or Treat will be held on Friday, Oct. 31 from 5-7 p.m. in the gymnasium at the Municipal Building. Groups looking to participate should contact Carolyn Holm at 218-404-6585.
