Vacation Bible School at Babbitt Assembly of God Church will be Monday August 3-7 from 10 A.M. to noon each day. This year’s theme “Rainforest Falls, exploring the Nature of God.” Root kids ages 4 to 12 into a relationship with God, their safe place in life’s storms. While playing games at “Wild Games,” tasting “Treetop Treats,” reading “Rooted Bible Adventures,” and learning about the nature of God at Imagination Station, kids will know that they can always depend on God. The Babbitt Lions Club will be accepting donations from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday only for the Veterans Resale Room in the back of the Municipal Center.
A firearms safety hybrid class will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Students must pre-register by calling Terri Loewen at 218-290-4810. Requirements: Must be 11 years of age before class start date.

A 50th Reunion of the State Baseball Championship will occur on Saturday, Aug. 15 at the Hideaway in Babbitt. A private reunion for the team will be held from 1-3:30 p.m. Friends, family and the community are welcome to greet the team beginning 3:30 p.m.
