The Lake County Highway Department is planning to begin roadside vegetation management operations along Fernberg Road (CSAH 18) between Power Dam Road and Glipi Road on or around Monday, November 2.
Work will include mowing and brushing the roadside and removing hazard trees. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane and controlled by flaggers; please expect travel delays up to 10 minutes. Work is expected to start around 8 am and wrap up around 3 pm, Monday through Thursday. Work will continue as long as weather and ground cover conditions permit.

Signing up includes a few simple steps: navigate to the Lake County website at lakecountymn.gov and under Departments, choose Highway. From the Highway Department homepage click on Highway Department Updates. This will bring you to a Highway News page. From there, in the right-hand corner, click “Notify Me”. Next, click “Notify Me Sign In” and create a Lake County account. Once your account is created, you can choose the department notifications you’d like to receive via email or text message. Your Lake County account gives you access to more than just highway news – you can access handy online services such as property tax payments and other fees and services.
