The Ely High School Concert Choir performed at the State High School League music contests in Ely on Tuesday.
The choir received a superior and two excellent ratings and was one point away from a trophy. The pop choir received an excellent. Gabe White received an excellent and both Matthew Johnson and Colton Bramley received excellent ratings but were only one point away from a superior rating. Rachel Carter and Emily Bialik received Superiors on their solos and will be bringing home a gold medal.
The event brought dozens of high school students to town for the day.
