Peter Mitchell Days is coming up again and the committee will need help selling raffle tickets and buttons at Zup’s. She will have shifts Monday-Friday running from 10-12, 12-2 and 2-4. If you can help please call or text Carolyn Holm 218-404-6585 or there will be a book up at Zup’s when people are selling raffles and buttons.
Nelimark Homestead Museum is opening May 29 for the 2025 season. The Nelimark will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through the end of September. Friday’s are “Bread Day.” The Nelimark is located on Hwy 21 across from the Timber Hall in Embarrass.
Join Sisu Heritage to celebrate the Finnish tradition of sauna on National Sauna Day, Saturday, June 7. The free, family-friendly event is outdoors, rain or shine, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Nelimark Homestead and Museum on Hwy. 21 in Embarrass.

Stay Active and Independent for Life (S.A.I.L.) sessions have resumed with a 9 a.m. and a 10 a.m. session each Tuesday and Thursday for 12 weeks. This exercise program is free, and designed for people over 60.
