Range Mental Health Center (RMHC) is proud to announce the expansion of its psychiatric services in Ely with Kathy Udovich, MSN, RN, CNP, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Udovich has been serving clients at RMHC since February 2022 and is now accepting new patients in Ely, both in person and via telehealth.
Udovich brings a wealth of education and experience to RMHC. She holds a master’s in nursing from Walden University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of St. Scholastica, an associate’s degree in nursing from Hibbing Community College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.
Her clinical interests include treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders and supporting members of the LGBTQi community. She has specialty training in Suboxone treatment, expanding access to evidence-based care for individuals experiencing opioid use disorders.
“I’m passionate about mental health and believe in treating the whole person—both physical and mental health,” said Udovich. “I enjoy helping people live their most fulfilling life, and RMHC is a great place to do that. I work closely with my clients to develop individualized goals and treatment plans that reflect their values and preferences.
Udovich lives and works in the Ely area and is deeply connected to the local community. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano and flute, reading, boating, and relaxing by the lake.
“We are proud to be able to provide in-person visits to clients in Ely,” said Jill Barger, Medical Director at RMHC. “Telehealth visits are also an option, but we are excited to offer clients a choice. It’s part of our ongoing commitment to providing client-centered care that meets individuals where they are.”
In addition to Ely, RMHC also offers comprehensive psychiatric services at its Hibbing and Virginia locations, ensuring accessible, high-quality mental health care across northern St. Louis County.
