Following a tumultuous city council meeting, Mayor Andrea Zupanich has offered to meet with constituents.
“I’ll be at City Hall Monday Sept. 29 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. if anyone would like to talk to me directly about my role in the City, my compensation, my perceived monopolyonrentalsandshortterm rentals, some facts about housing, the projects we have going on as well as the projects that did not happen I would love to talk to you. I’ll even bring the refreshments. Let’s talk about the real truths. Can’t make 9-1 I’ll be happy to meet with you when works for you. Just let me know. You can message me and we’ll meet.
“So many are assuming the wrong (and naturally worse) things and while I appreciate those who are brave enough to post under your name you definitely don’t have the facts correct and the Anonymous key board warriors certainly are incorrect and appear to like to create dissension and hatred. Not ONE of the people posting have asked me anything about the topics they appear to be experts on in my life but I will not address anything on this post.
“There’s an open position on the West Babbitt Committee. Anyone is free to apply or even come to the meetings. They are open to the public. The Planning and Zoning position has finally been filled after months of being open. We finally had one applicant come forward. It’s great to see so many people coming forward and passionate about the town. We’d love to see you at meetings and on committees. If you have a suggestion for another committee bring it Monday and we’ll go forward from there.
“There is an issue with the Internet in the conference room and the wiring for Internet (and other parts of City Hall) which is why we have problems with the live streaming. We’re working on fixing that we were hoping a booster would have helped.
“I look forward to see you Monday, especially Mr or Mrs Anonymous(es),” Zupancich posted online.
