Minnesota West had 14 points within four minutes Saturday afternoon at Ely School Stadium.
But that was only the beginning.
Before the community college football game came to an end, the visiting Bluejays had piled up 77 points and blew out host Vermilion 77-12.
The Ironhawks had five turnovers and couldn’t contain the Bluejays for nearly all of the Minnesota College Athletic Conference contest.

The Bluejays amassed nearly 500 yards of offense and picked apart Vermilion’s defense throughout the contest.
The Minnesota West defense also got in on the act, creating turnovers and giving the offense tremendous field position.
Quarterback Armon Vinson passed for three scores and 243 yards for the winners, with Elijah Wilson finishing with three touchdown receptions.
Dontrell Harris ran for 66 yards for Minnesota West and teammate Justin Spears had a 57-yard interception return for a score.
One of Vermilion’s highlights came in the third quarter when quarterback Anthony Purifoy completed a 40-yard scoring pass.
Vermilion finished with over 200 yards of passing offense.
