Two members of the Northeast Range/Ely golf team have won all-conference recognition for their performance on the links this spring.
Senior Cylvia DeBeltz and eighth-grader Colette Moskowitz have both been placed on the All-Iron Range Conference Team.
That selection was based on their outings at the IRC Championship Meet, held May 13 at The Quarry at Giants Ridge.
At that event, DeBeltz was second among girls with an 18-hole score of 102.
Moskowitz wound up fifth overall at 108.
Also this season, DeBeltz was East Range Conference champion based on her outing May 21, when she was first among girls at the ERC meet.
In the Section 7A competition held in late-May at McGregor, DeBeltz wound up ninth overall - and one spot away from qualifying for this week’s state meet.
Moskowitz placed 22nd in 7A.
Others on the All-IRC team were Millie Lindahl-Slatinski and Tenley Thompson of International Falls, and Two Harbors’ Emmy Bentler.
