Rep. Roger Skraba (R-Ely) was unanimously endorsed to be the Republican candidate for MN House District 3A at a nominating convention held in Hibbing on Saturday. Skraba was elected in 2022.
“I’m honored to be unanimously endorsed and I look forward to continue representing District 3A in St. Paul,” said Skraba.
Skraba, 61, is a US Army veteran, NDSU graduate and a Blandin Leadership graduate who has been involved in elected politics for over 15 years.
Skraba was previously the Mayor of Ely, chairman of St. Louis County Planning Commission, president of Club Mesabi, trail administrator for the Ely Igloo Snowmobile Club’s Grant in Aid trails and finds time to work as a fishing guide and carpenter.
