The Babbitt Weekly News will be hosting the candidate forum for mayoral candidates on Monday, Sept. 28 at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Babbitt Municipal Building.
Thursday, Oct. 1, Solumn Holdings will be hosting an open house/ open forum for council members and residents to ask questions and get familiar with the West Babbitt development project. Beginning at 4 p.m., the council will have a study session with the developers to discuss the development, followed by an open forum for resident questions beginning at 5 p.m. This will take place in the Council Chambers in the city’s Municipal Building and is open to all members of the public.
Northeast Range School is hosting Big Truck Night on Monday, Oct. 5, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Babbitt Lions Club would like to notify the people of Babbitt that anyone in need of medical equipment, walkers, crutches, wheelchairs, hospital beds and much more. The club does loan out such equipment to Babbitt citizens and will take it back when done with it. There is never a charge for this service. The Babbitt veterans resale room now accepting gently used items Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon in the back of the Municipal Building in Babbitt at 71 South Drive. Come check out vintage items for sale.
