The meeting was called by unanimous action of the Council to form a task group to investigate both bids received for the legal publication for 2019, The task group was selected by Mayor Novak to include three City Councilors, the City Attorney and the Clerk.

with Omerza Absent.

School Board Meeting Minutes December 10, 2018 (Board approved 1-14-2019)
1.0 The regular meeting of the School Board of Independent School District No. 696
was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman Marsnik.
2.0 On roll call the following directors were present: Kellerman, Marsnik, Mann,
Omerza, Pointer, Sjoberg. Also present: Kevin Abrahamson, Superintendent;
Tom Coombe, Ely Echo; Keith Vandervort, Ely Timberjay.
3.0 Pledge of Allegiance
4.0 Approval of Agenda:
4.1 Moved by Pointer, seconded by Kellerman, to approve the agenda as
amended. Motion carried. (Vote: 6-0) (Item 11.4 and 12.1.4 were deleted
from the agenda)
5.0 Open forum:

School Board Study Session December 17, 2018 (Board approved 1-14-2019)
1.0 The study session of the School Board of Independent School District No. 696 was called to order by Chairman Marsnik at 6:00 p.m. in the school board meeting room.
2.0 On roll call the following directors were present: Kellerman, Mann, Marsnik, Pointer, Sjoberg. Absent: Omerza.
3.0 Katie Hildenbrand from ARI was present to answer questions and go over the facilities project timeline that will be needed for the planning and development process.
4.0 Superintendent Abrahamson and High School Principal Megan Anderson gave an update on the discussions that the Iron Range Collaboration have been having to provide more opportunities for our students.
5.0 Moved by Kellerman, seconded by Pointer, to adjourn at 6:55 p.m. Motion carried. (5-0)
