Meeting was held via Zoom-video/teleconference

1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Novak called the Ely City Council Meeting to order at 5:30pm.

2. PRESENT: Council members A.Forsman, Kess, Debeltz, Omerza, Callen, Campbell, and Mayor Novak
ABSENT: None

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Callen/Debeltz moved to approve the minutes from the May 5, 2020 Regular Council Meeting. Roll Called: Council Member A.Forsman-Yes, Kess-Yes, Debeltz-Yes, Omerza-Yes, Callen-Yes, Campbell – Yes, and Mayor Novak-Yes. Motion Carried Unanimously.

4. ADDITIONS OR OMISSIONS TO AGENDA:
A. Addition 8.A. Park and Recreation Minutes
B. Addition 13. A Police Chief Contract
Additions A and B added without objection.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Ely will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 5:30pm the meeting will be held via video/teleconference.

Members of the public may monitor the meeting by viewing it live on Midco Public Access TV Channels 11 and 98 and on the City of Ely Facebook page via Facebook Live. Parking tickets can be paid at the Police Department Office with Cash, Check or Credit Card or they can be paid ONLINE at www.elycitation.com

Qualifications include:
• Current Minnesota teaching license in K-12 Library/Media Specialist
• Previous teaching experience in a media specialist role preferred
• Excellent communication skills including verbal and written
• Technology integration experience preferred

1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Novak called the Ely City Council Meeting to order at 5:30pm in the Council Chambers.

2. PRESENT: Council members A.Forsman, Kess, Debeltz, Omerza, Callen, Campbell, and Mayor Novak
ABSENT: None

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Debeltz/Campbell moved to approve the minutes from the April 21, 2020 Public Hearing, the April 21, 2020 Regular Council Meeting, the April 28, 2020 Special Council Meeting, and the May 1, 2020 Special Council Meeting. Motion Carried Unanimously.

4. ADDITIONS OR OMISSIONS TO AGENDA: None

5. MAYOR’S REPORT
Mayor Novak indicated that the meeting is being held in the Council Chambers and Boards or Commissions may also meet in here with Social Distancing in place.

starting in the 2020-2021 school year.

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s Degree and coaching certification preferred;
• Previous coaching experience preferred;
• Must be available for several practices/games per week from mid-August to early-March, including some weekends and during school break periods.

2.0 On roll call the following directors were present via teleconference: Marsnik, Colarich, Mann, Omerza, Pointer, Sjoberg. Also present: Erik Erie, Superintendent; Tom Coombe, Ely Echo; Keith Vandervort, Timberjay; Megan Anderson, Anne Oelke, Tim Leeson.
