1. CALL TO ORDER
The regular City Council Meeting on April 6, 2021 was called to order by Mayor Novak at 5:30pm.

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Campbell/Callen moved to approve the minutes from the March 16, 2021 EUC Rates Public Hearing, March 16, 2021 Regular Council Meeting, March 30, 2021 Special Council Meeting, and the March 30, 2021 Study Session. Motion Carried Unanimously.

TOWN OF FALL LAKE ASSESSMENT NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEARBY GIVEN, That the Board of Appeal-*Equalization of the TOWN of FALL LAKE in LAKE County, Minnesota, will meet at the Office of the Clerk in said TOWN OF FALL LAKE at 1:00 o'clock P.M. on TUESDAY the 27th day of April, 2021 for the purpose of reviewing and correcting the assessment of said TOWN for the year, 2021. All persons considering themselves aggrieved by said assessment, or who wish to complain that the property of another is assessed too low, are hearby notifed to appear at said meeting, and show cause of having such assessment corrected.

No complaint that another person is assessed too low will be acted upon until the person so assessed, or his agent shall have been notified of such complaint.

Call To Order:
Mayor Novak called the EUC rates Public Hearing to order at 5:00pm.

PRESENT: Council members A.Forsman, Kess, Debeltz, Omerza, Callen, Campbell via Zoom and Mayor Novak
Also Present: EUC Commissioners Wilmunen, Nikkola, Richards, and Colarich

Purpose:
Ely City Council will hold a public hearing for discussion and to hear public comment on the Ely Utilities Commission’s proposed rate increases.

Clerk Langowski indicated that there are no rate changes in for water and sewer, but the electric rate is going up 7% which is the same increase that MN Power gave to us. Langowski indicated that the rates were approved and recommended by the EUC.

EUC Commissioner Wilmunen thanked Commissioner Richards for keeping track of the expenses monthly; he works with Dan and Harold to try to keep the utilities on budget.
