Mary was born September 13, 1935 to Michael and Loretta (Hoffer) Voit in Sauk Rapids, MN. She was a homemaker first, worked at Joe’s IGA for 25 years and Zup’s grocery store for a short period of time. Mary was an avid bowler, polka dancer, and a member of the women’s VFW Auxiliary. She loved baking for all, but mostly loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her children, Susan Dockendorf, Aurora, MN; Mark Dockendorf, Brooklyn Center, MN; Carol Dockendorf (Mark Krmpotich) St. Paul, MN; Paula (Marvin) Jonas, Babbitt, MN; Gwen Dockendorf (Mark Nelson) of Champlin, MN; her 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at Kerntz Funeral Home of Ely, MN on July 31, 2025 from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitation is from 5 to 6 p.m., with Father Charlie Freibohle officiating at 6 p.m.
