Notice is hereby given that the Winton City Council is calling for bids to erect a canopy over the cluster box units on Lake Street in the City of Winton. All bids shall include site preparation, materials, labor and electrical service per specifications provided. Specifications and construction drawings are available from Mayor Kathy Brandau at Brandau Plumbing, 7 N. Fall Lake Drive, Winton, MN 55796, (218) 365-3985 or City Clerk Anne Jackson, 102 N. Main Street, Winton, MN 55796, (218) 365-5941.
All bids must be sealed and marked with the words “Postal Canopy Bid” on the outside and delivered to the Winton City Clerk no later than 5:00PM on Monday, April 1, 2019. All bids shall be opened and read aloud at 6:00PM April 1, 2019 at the Winton City Council Meeting in the Winton Community Center, 102 N. Main Street, Winton, MN.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informalities therein.

Notice is hereby given to qualified voters of the TOWN OF MORSE, County of St. Louis, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Town Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tuesday in March, announcement regarding the election will be aired on WELY.
The Election Poll hours will be open from noon to 8 p.m. at which time the voters will elect:
1 (One) Town Supervisor‚ Three year term

The Annual Meeting will commence following the election results and Board of Canvass to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.

TIMBER SALE

The Shell Sale is located within T59N R12W Sect 1, 2, 11 and 12 and T59N R11W Sect 6, approximately 10 miles southeast of Babbitt, MN. The Forest Service will receive sealed bids in public at Ely, Minnesota at 1:00 PM local time on 04/02/2019 for an estimated volume of 366 CCF of Jack Pine sawtimber, 43 CCF of Paper Birch sawtimber, 81 CCF of Spruce sawtimber, 2611 CCF of Aspen pulpwood, 120 CCF of Balsam Fir pulpwood, 222 CCF of Maple pulpwood, 127 CCF of Pine pulpwood, 274 CCF of Paper Birch pulpwood, and 195 CCF of Spruce pulpwood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is within the sale area an unestimated volume of Softwood - Other green biomass cv, and Hardwood - Other green biomass cv that the bidder may agree to remove at a fixed rate. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below.
